Privacy Policy

1. Data controller
Francisco Gutiérrez González, a private individual.
Contact: info@datamaxgen.com
I currently operate as a private individual, without a registered self-employed (autónomo) activity yet. Once I complete that registration (expected in the coming months), I will update this section with my tax details.
2. What data I collect, and why
- Contact form (name, email, company and the rest of the fields you fill in, including your data sources): to answer your enquiry and assess whether I can help you. Handled through Formspree.
- Downloadable guide (email): to send you the PDF you requested and, if you give me express consent, to write to you afterwards.
- Blog newsletter (email): only if you subscribe voluntarily, to let you know when I publish a new article. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.
- Web analytics (Google Analytics): only if you accept the analytics cookies in the relevant notice. I use an anonymised IP address to understand how the site is used and improve it. More detail in the Cookie Policy.
3. Legal basis
Your consent, given when you fill in a form, subscribe to the newsletter or accept the analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
4. Recipients and processors
I don't sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. I use these providers, acting as data processors, to deliver the service:
- Formspree (form handling) — may involve a data transfer to the United States, covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Google Analytics / Google LLC (web analytics, only with your consent) — same international transfer basis.
None of these providers uses your data for purposes of their own beyond delivering the contracted service.
5. Retention period
I keep your data for as long as our relationship lasts (an open enquiry, a client, a subscriber) and, at most, for the legal limitation periods for liability. You can request deletion at any time. Google Analytics data is kept according to that service's own configuration.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to info@datamaxgen.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe I have not handled your data correctly.
7. Security
I apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
8. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to the services I use. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version.
Any questions about your data?
Write to me and I'll reply directly, no red tape.
